RSVP MP Sobita Gautam has called upon the Nepalis in India to return to their country and participate in writing the country's destiny.
She also said that RSVP is raising the people's issues in the Parliament of Nepal, but there are no numbers to address the demands and sufferings of the people.
On Sunday, MP Gautam told the announcement meeting of the Karnataka State Committee under Pravasi Nepali Contact Forum, India that the Nepalis who came to India to do various professions and businesses should return to their country in the upcoming elections.
'Nepalese who were in India should return to Nepal and prepare to write Nepal's destiny . It is said that 60 million Nepalis are in India, now they should return to Nepal and be ready to write the destiny of Nepal," she said, "The status given to the Nepalese people in today's parliament is that of the fourth party. Today, we are able to keep the voice of the people clear, but right now we do not have the numbers to address the voice and pain of the Nepali people. Anything will be decided according to the numbers in the House.'
Pointing out that Raswapa is advancing the program targeting the 2084 election, MP Gautam added, 'In this election (2079) we have been able to raise the issues of the Nepali people, we promise to solve the problems of the Nepali people in the next election,' she said.
MP Gautam also claimed that Nepal's parliament has become worth watching because of the parliamentarians of RSVP. 'Today, the House of Nepal is worth watching because of someone, if it is because of the parliamentarians of RSVP . In the House, RSVP has raised the issue of Nepali people. If any party is stuck on the issue of Nepali people, it is RSWP,' she said.
MP Gautam also said that the RSVP is besieging the parliament, demanding an investigation into the irregularities in the visit visa case and immigration. She also made it clear that the RSVP will stand firm in the parliament on people's issues.
MP Gautam also said that the government has retaliated against RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane. Lamichhane has been in custody pending trial in the case of co-operative fraud. Gautam said that RSVP is also moving forward from the struggle. He also said that the voice raised by the RSVP is being suppressed.
Stating that the role of Nepalis in India was great in the political changes in Nepal in the past, MP Gautam said that there is a need for it in the upcoming elections as well. She also urged the Nepalis in India to return to their country to vote in the upcoming elections. He said that to take the country to economic prosperity, the support of all Nepalis is needed.
