MP Sharma's anger towards the minister: Only people from five areas can vote for trees and the sun?

Regarding ministerial budget allocation, the ruling Congress MP Dr. Sunil Sharma has expressed his anger towards the ministers. Sharma said that the ministers are limited to their respective constituencies and small group of leaders in their efforts for the development of the country.

In the Sunday meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Sharma said that the ministers are not accountable to the people. He said that even though there is a coalition government of Congress and UML, the budget has only gone to limited areas.

'Do you have a heart? Do you have the heart to be accountable to citizens? Are you a minister of the country, a leader of the country or a minister within a small group? Did you become a minister after winning the election alone? So why the need for an alliance? Only four or five people from this area can reach the Congress-UML minister by voting for trees and the sun,' MP Sharma said, 'Can you run this House next time?' This is a serious matter and a question. The budget should be revised immediately. The budget should be fair. By taking this state power in hand, showing the pride of power by sitting in the state power, citizens cannot be legally robbed.'

Even though all citizens pay equal taxes, MP Sharma objected saying that the budget was allocated only to their constituencies and districts by the ministers . 'What are you  doing ? Nepalese citizens are the only ones within the five districts. Apart from our five districts of Karnali, Mugu, Mustang, Madhes, Terai, Pahad, the people of 72 districts are not Nepalese citizens. Don't you have a little compassion?,' asked Sharma. He said that the ministers have lost their conscience while allocating the budget.

MP Sharma objected that the budget was not kept in the constituencies of other MPs of the party and kept only in his area. "Today, as soon as you came to power, you are wearing short pants but you are shameless, as soon as you come to power, you are shameless," he said. We are not talking about one person, MP who came with millions of votes is forced.'

Sharma also said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli did not do justice in budget allocation. He said, 'We say, yes indeed. The father checked whether the budget was not given only to the sons, and talked to a couple of girls. The problem is not only in sons, but also in daughters,' he said.

Likewise, MP Sharma also objected to the introduction of the concept of 'Take and Pay' under the Ministry of Finance. He asked the finance minister to withdraw the concept. 'Tech and pay was introduced, there are only two answers, produce electricity and we don't buy it, the state says ? You produce electricity, invest billions and we don't buy it, what that means is that Nepali businessmen and industrialists, you don't have the right to the rivers flowing in Nepal, you don't get to produce electricity, you say goodbye,' he said.

MP Sharma also said the question that we are giving projects by taking money from foreigners . On what ground did you say this today when Nepalis are just taking leaps and bounds in water resources, when they are learning to make it, when Nepal is about to start a new aya in water resources ? This should be changed immediately before the end of June,' he said, 'There is a rumor called take and pay, collecting money from traders and changing it, this is said to be design . If there is an attempt to change the market by taking money from traders in the middle of June, we will raise this matter in this House.'

MP Sharma also asked to withdraw Article 57 of the budget. He said that the system of paying tax of Rs 35 lakh should be returned when investing Rs 1 crore in the industry being operated. As for Section 57, Section 57 is a criminal section. Where he wants to invest Rs 1 crore, in an ongoing industry he cannot invest Rs 1 crore without paying tax of Rs 35 lakh. Are you going to close the hotels, schools, colleges, limited or private companies of this country or let them run?, he said.
