Ruling Congress MP Purna Bahadur Tamang has prayed from the rostrum of the House of Representatives that Deputy Prime Ministers Prakashman Singh and Vishnu Paudel should not come to Parliament in the upcoming elections.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, MP Tamang objected that Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Singh and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Paudel focused only on their respective constituencies and districts while distributing the ministerial projects.
Tamang said that Singh concentrated the budget only on Kathmandu and Poudel on Rupandehi . "I pray to Lord Buddha and Pashupitinath that these two deputy prime ministers do not come to this house in the 2084 election," he said.
Tamang asked both the Deputy Prime Ministers, 'You didn't say that the budget below 30 million won't be allocated, the Deputy Prime Ministers ? Today, Kathmandu district has 150 schemes ranging from 2 lakh to 2 crore. Put 79 in Rupandehi ? This is how it goes ?' He said that both of them are in the line of the Prime Minister, but in terms of budget allocation, they have become inferior only in their districts.
Tamang said that Deputy Prime Minister Singh has kept the 207 schemes of the Ministry of Urban Development only in Kathmandu district and has not distributed them to other districts.
Tamang also said that he will raise questions against Deputy Prime Minister Singh, who is also a Congress leader, in the upcoming convention of the party.
