CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has commented that there is no difference between former President Vidya Bhandari and UML President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in terms of ideological and political culture. In an interview with Kantipur, he also said that Bhandari and Oli have the same political views, manners and thinking.

Former President Bhandari also tried to be active in UML and the increased activity after his visit to China is for the greater left unity ? In response to the question, Dahal commented that it is not timely that there will be left polarization after Bhandari came into politics.

He said, 'It cannot happen when KP is there, it is not a matter of left unity moving forward immediately when Vidyaji comes. As I understand it, KPG and Vidyaji's political views, traditions and thinking are the same . There is no difference . It has been heard outside that Vidyaji will come to UML. But I don't think there is any difference between Vidyaji and KPG in terms of ideological and political culture.'

He said that former President Bhandari looked like a rubber stamp of the Prime Minister at one stage and said that because of that the country was in trouble at that time. He said in an interview, 'We should not forget that.' At one stage, Vidyaji was seen as a rubber stamp of Prime Minister KP Oli. I have spoken in and outside the parliament at that time. I don't see left unity as soon as KPG goes to UML and Vidyaji comes.'  In a conversation with

Kantipur, he said that the leader of China always used to say that the left wing would have become one and said that this is an 'open secret'. He also said that Nepal's leftists will not act according to the good will of China, but will make decisions according to their own thoughts, conscience and circumstances.
