The fourth and fifth largest parties in this House are on strike. Shouldn't the Prime Minister or the ruling party, Speaker of the House, and all opposition parties find a way to create a compromise situation?'
Ruling Congress MP Arjun Narsingh KC has termed the formation of the Good Governance Commission under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli as a 'journey to nowhere'. Stating that there should not be arrogance among those in power, he also suggested that the opposition between RSVP and RPP should be resolved in the parliament.
In the Sunday meeting of the House of Representatives, MP KC objected to the formation of the Good Governance Commission, which consists of the Prime Minister and Ministers to ensure good governance.
'The prime minister and the cabinet are central to good governance . Why is good governance commission under the chairmanship of the prime minister necessary at the center? If there was a real need for good governance, there would have been an expert on the good governance of the country, if only five people had been kept. Ministers and Prime Ministers are institutions that provide good governance. I don't understand what he is trying to do by sitting in that commission. This is just an eyesore,' MP KC said .
The prime minister's office should be strengthened, but such commissions cannot do anything, he said. "Be it the prime minister of my party or the prime minister of my alliance, they can advance the process of institutional development of that organization rather than the truth." I believe that it can bring the issues into motion,' KC said, 'I am concerned that the Good Governance Commission under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister is nowhere.' His question was that the people who should give good governance sit in the commission and what kind of governance are they trying to give.
Similarly, MP KC said that democracy should be debated and dialogued. He demanded that Prime Minister Oli should be proactive to solve the problem by bringing those who are protesting in the parliament to a dialogue. 'The fourth and fifth largest parties in this House are on sit-in. In order to create a compromise situation, shouldn't the Prime Minister or the ruling party, Speaker of the House, all opposition parties find a way?', he said, 'Controversy, counter-argument and dialogue work in politics . If we continue to run it like a silent spectator, the way we are doing it today, 'Jo Aaj Tumhara Hey, Kal Tumhara Nahi Hoga Aurka Hoga', if we take the attitude of vengeance, anger and taking revenge on someone here, it may backfire on us tomorrow.'
KC said that those who lead the state power should engage in moderate, regular legal process and balance. He said that after being in power, ego, arrogance and tendency to think that whatever I did is right must be abandoned.
