Manthali Municipality of Ramechhap - 6 Kunauri and 7 Bhatauli - under construction motorable bridge on Tamakoshi river has been broken. The bridge, which was under construction, was broken on Sunday morning.

The slab on the Bhatauli side of the bridge has broken and fallen down. The same bridge was broken earlier on 26th Baisakh. Locals said that the bridge was broken again while the Kalika/Kalpvriksha JV, which took over the construction, was rebuilding the bridge that had been broken earlier. Suraj Shrestha of Manthali Municipality-7 Mugitar has said that the part of the bridge which was broken a month ago, was broken again during the reconstruction.

In 2078/79, the construction company entered into a construction contract with the Bridge Division under the Road Department for 225 million 554 million 40 thousand to complete the construction by the end of August 2082. After the bridge broke for the second time at the same place, while the company had already taken 60 percent of the payment for the construction of the bridge, the locals raised questions about the quality.
