National Independent Party MP Sumana Shrestha has demanded the formation of a high-level investigation commission on the visit visa case.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Saturday, she said that the voice of the people has not been heard in the House while protesting with the demands of the people.

She questioned why the government did not set up a parliamentary inquiry committee and a high-level inquiry commission. 'If the people do not listen to their voice in the House, where will they go to voice it? She asked, 'Is the government for the weak or for the powerful?'

She said, 'We have been standing in this House for so long with the people's demands. But so far, the government has not listened to the voice of the people to form a parliamentary inquiry committee and a high-level inquiry commission. If the people do not listen to their voices in the House, where will they go? This is not the practice of our democracy. The voice of the people is spoken here, heard here. Who is the government for? For the weak, for the weak or for the powerful? How long will our youth leave the country? They are ready to go to America by spending one million, why spend one year? Shouldn't there be policy reforms?

MP Shrestha said that Nepalis go to Russia and the Gulf countries through visit visas.
