President Ramchandra Paudel has said that studies, research and historical and archeological facts related to yoga that show the world the path to health, peace and spiritual progress are confirming that Nepal is a land of yoga.

Expressing his best wishes today on the occasion of International Yoga Day, he expressed the belief that yoga, meditation and sadhana bring balance to the body, mind and spirit, release stress and gain positive energy .

'Yoga, meditation and sadhana are believed to balance the body, mind and soul, relieve stress and get positive energy,' President Paudel said in the message, 'Yoga science is used in the material and non-material assets of the cultural sector in Nepal . I think it is necessary to do more work in the development of this sector by establishing yoga as an integral part of the country's national policy, educational curriculum and public health.'

According to the resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 2014, since 2015, June 21 has been celebrated every year as International Yoga Day. This year we are celebrating the World Yoga Day according to the meaning and spirit of yoga with the motto 'Yoga for the whole earth and human health.'
