Rashtriya Jan Morcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC has said that he is not against the federal system. Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting held on Saturday, he said that federalism was not accepted by Khushi Raji when the constitution was being made in Nepal. He said that Nepali people do not need that province now.

He insists that federalism is carried out with the aim of drowning the nation of Nepal in debt by carrying the burden of the province. He said that the system which is not in the interest of the nation should be abolished. He has clarified that he is not against the federal system but that federalism is not possible in Nepal.

He said, Khushi Raji did not accept federalism while making the constitution in Nepal. I was in both the Constituent Assembly. Why was federalism accepted in the constitution? Now Nepali people need that province? Federalism was carried out with the aim of making the Nepal nation in debt by carrying the burden of the province, not the Nepalese people. Now a large number of people in Nepal say that Chitra Bahadur has nothing else to do, he only talks. They say that abolishing the state is fine. I don't mean to say that. Any system is in the interest of the nation. Chitra Bahadur is more anti-federal than I think. Why am I anti-federalism? Federalism is not possible in Nepal. Saying there is no need for it and opposing the federal system is the same thing? This is wrong.

Member of Parliament KC said that the local level should be strengthened by giving the expenses incurred in the state to the local level.
