Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday morning posted the 'overpass' built at Gwarko Chowk in Lalitpur as 'Nepal's first flyover' on social media. The overpass opening ceremony was scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Prime Minister Oli himself cut the ribbon and inaugurated the overpass. . But Prime Minister Oli made Traffic Police Division Chief SSP Navraj Adhikari to cut the ribbon.

"The inauguration of the newly constructed Gwarco Flyover on the Kalanki-Koteshwar section of the Kathmandu Circular Path by the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. KP Sharma Oli was successfully completed," the inscription reads.
