Rajendra Pandey, the deputy leader of the United Socialist Parliamentary Party in the House of Representatives, has suggested to remove the chief secretary and secretary, who opposed the two-year 'cooling-off period' in the federal civil service.

He said that in the past too, the government withdrew the Civil Bill after discussion in the Parliament and the effect of this was that there was a problem in the implementation of administrative federalism.
