Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Kumar Chaurasia has been accused by MP Amresh Kumar Singh of calling the Supreme Court judge from the district.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday, MP Singh alleged that there is collusion between the judge and the leader. The call details of leaders and judges' mobile phones should be made public. I have been hearing that the law minister calls a number of judges early in the morning if there is a case, if it is in the district, if it is in a high court, then he calls the chief judge and if it is in the Supreme Court,' he said, 'I want to demand that the call details of the law minister come out and why did he call the judge ?'
Singh said that as a member of the Judicial Council, the Law Minister should only talk to the Chief Justice. He said there was no reason to call the district judge. "The court cannot be influenced, justice runs according to the law". Justice should be as prescribed by law and constitution. Ask for the minister's call details. If there is a mistake, I will resign from the parliament,' he said.
Singh said that he is aware that the law minister calls the judge about the case. "I didn't accuse anyone, I didn't accuse anyone without knowing that much," he said.
Congress whip Sushila Thing objected to the fact that the law minister calls the judge to settle the case and that the call details should be taken out to investigate . She demanded to remove what MP Singh said from the record of Parliament.
Similarly, MP Singh said that judges should be based on expertise. He said that the Judicial Council should be dissolved. "There is no justification and need for the Justice Council." The Judicial Council is a Syndicate . That syndicate system should be abolished, it is a political syndicate,' he said.
