CPN (Maoist Centre) Member of Parliament Janardan Sharma has said that it is sad to run the House ignoring the obstacles and opposition.

Participating in the discussion on the allocation topic in the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, MP Sharma said that it is sad that the leadership's job is to solve the problem, but it is sad that there is no concern and interest towards the solution.

He said that since the budget is an annual program, it is objectionable that the parliamentarians are not able to have their say on the program that is implemented throughout the year.

Sharma said, 'It is a sad thing to run the House without solving the serious questions raised in the Parliament, ignoring the obstacles and opposition before presenting the proposal to reduce the expenditure. I am sorry for this. Why can't we solve the problem? The job of leadership is to solve problems. We are not concerned with solutions. Such customs and culture should not be established. I would like to say that an immediate solution should be found. I would like to say with sadness that the budget statement was rushed, without allowing us to speak, and the rights of the parliamentarians were also curtailed. It is an annual program, a program that is implemented throughout the year. What is the point of MPs if they can't keep their word? Why have our rights been curtailed? I have an objection to this, I want to object.'

Expressing regret that the budget statement has been decided to reduce the rights of parliamentarians, Sharma asked the government to inform the House about the preparations for the rescue and safety of Nepali victims of the raging war in the Middle East.

Millions of Nepalis are in the Middle East in this situation where the world is on the verge of a world war. What steps is the Nepal government taking for their safety? Need to be serious. I would like to remind you that I said a year ago - the situation will reach there, for that let's discuss production and job creation soon. But that didn't happen. Now what will the government do about their security? A serious question has been raised," he said, "there are forty million Nepalis. How will the war be brought back tomorrow? How is security done? How do we provide employment? How do we give food? This is a very serious matter.'

He urged the government to pay attention to the safety and employment of the 40 million Nepalis in the Middle East.
