The government has accepted a concessional loan worth about 20.79 billion Nepalese rupees from the World Bank for the third phase of the Bridge Improvement and Repair Program.

 

Government Spokesman and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung informed that the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on June 2 decided to accept the loan for the third phase of the Bridge Improvement and Repair Program. According to him, the government has also accepted a subsidy worth about 1.88 billion Nepalese rupees from the South Korean government for the inclusive rural development project to be conducted in Bardia district.

Similarly, it has been decided to accept a concessional loan worth about 29 billion 72 crore rupees from the World Bank Group's International Development Organization for strategic road network and trade route improvement projects.
