The central, state and district offices of the Congress will remain closed on June 5. The meeting of the central working committee of the party held at the party central office Sanepa on Wednesday decided to close the party offices at the center, state and district on June 5.

Narrating the decision of the meeting, General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa said that it has been decided to fly the flag at half-mast at the party's central office, state office and district office for three days on June 4, 5 and 6. Former Industries Minister and Congress leader Dhundiraj Shastri passed away during treatment last Monday.

In mourning his death, the Congress has decided to close all offices at the center, state and district on Thursday, June 5. Also, it has been decided to keep mourning booklets in central, state and district offices until the 13th day of Ascension, and to organize mourning meetings in the respective districts on the 13th day of Ascension. The body of the late Shastri has been kept at the party central office for last respect.
