UML standing committee member and Koshi province in-charge Sherdhan Rai has claimed that there is false propaganda about former president Bidya Devi Bhandari. He also said that Bhandari did not want to return to UML and do politics.

He said during an interaction program conducted by Press Chowtari in Khandbari on Monday, 'There is an attempt to create unnecessary confusion about him and former President Bhandari has not been seen anywhere in favor of returning to UML and politics so far and the matter has not progressed.'

He also said that in 2084, UML will fight alone at all three levels. He claims that the Congress-UML coalition government will last till 84. "The current government does not fall under anyone's pressure and influence," he said. "According to the agreement, Congress will lead the government after a few months."
