Congress MP Rajendra Bajgain has protested against the cutting of the development plan in Garakha. In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, MP Bajgai sat in the auditorium of the House, not in his seat.

He said that the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has cut the development projects of Gerkha. 'Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Devendra Dahal neither understands the meaning of democratic values, nor does he have the necessary understanding of the geography of the country. Therefore, he seems incompetent to distribute the budget fairly not only for Gorkhas, but for the entire country,' Bajgai said, 'On behalf of the Gorkhali people, I strongly condemn his decision. He has cut about four dozen budget titles that we have ensured for Gorkha in the last two financial years, which is completely unjust and unfortunate.'

Bajgai said that Minister Dahal failed to distribute resources equally.
