Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that even though the borders are closed due to some reasons, Nepali culture, traditions and language bind all Nepalis together. Minister Gurung mentioned that no matter where the Nepalese live for various reasons, Nepal can be known to the world through its customs, culture and language style.

While welcoming the contestants of the Nepali speaking reality shows 'Mero Voice Universe' and 'Mero Dance Universe', which are currently being broadcast around the world, at the ministry on Sunday, Gurung mentioned that art and culture will help globalize the country's identity. After the Sugauli Treaty, the impact of the World War and now globalization, Nepalis are scattered in different countries in three ways. For various reasons, no matter where Nepalis live, Nepal can be known to the world through its customs, culture and language style,' he said.  The contestants who participated in the

show collectively sang a song that reflects the national spirit of 'Bhasha Veshko, Jahan Jaanu Lagredhaar Maya Beskari...'. 'My father left the world without coming to Nepal. I came to Nepal for the first time after seven generations. I consider myself very lucky," said Asmita Neupane, who came to Nepal for the first time from Myanmar.

According to Chudamani Bhattarai, executive director of Intra Foundation, a social organization of Nepali speakers in America, the purpose of the program is to promote Nepali cultural identity worldwide by tying Nepali citizens scattered around the world into a single garland through singing and dancing.

has participated in both shows from 60 different countries and currently 16 countries have entered the list of the best 18 talents.
