Maoist MP Devendra Paudel has asked the government to take initiatives for the safety of Nepalis in Iran and Israel.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, MP Paudel said that about 7,000 Nepalis are in Israel and some Nepalis are also in Iran, and asked for quick action to rescue them. 

There is a fierce war between Israel and Iran. More than 7 thousand Nepalis are in Israel. Some number of Nepalis are also in Iran. What initiatives is the Nepal government taking for their safety? For their safety, there should be an initiative from the diplomatic circle,' he said. 

MP Paudel said that the transport system has been disrupted in various parts of the country due to floods and landslides, and also asked for quick repairs.
