'All Nepalis in Israel and Iran are safe'
Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba has instructed the ambassadors to give top priority to the safety of Nepalese in Israel and Iran.
Regarding the Israel-Iran war, Foreign Minister Rana Deuba on Sunday telephoned the Nepali ambassadors in Tel Aviv and Doha and instructed them to keep in constant contact with the security of the citizens.
Regarding the developments between Israel and Iran for the last three days, Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba has instructed the Nepali ambassadors in Tel Aviv and Doha to work by keeping the safety of Nepali citizens in the certified and co-certified countries as a top priority, to keep in constant contact with the Nepali community and to keep the Nepalis informed by regularly transmitting updated information on security alerts issued by the respective countries,' the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states.
At present, about 5 thousand 500 Nepalis in Israel and 12 Nepalis in Iran are all safe. The statement said that the Nepalese government is closely monitoring the developments between Israel and Iran and will take appropriate steps to ensure the welfare of the Nepalis there.
