Chitwan District Cricket Association (CAN) President Sudeep Piya passed away. Can Chitwan secretary Suraj Gyawali informed that he died at his house in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1, Narayangadh. He is said to have died of a heart attack.

Gyawali informed that his body is being taken to Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem.

48-year-old Pia was elected as the president of CAN Chitwan in July 2080. Before that, he was acting president. Piya was in Chitwan doing important work for the production and development of new cricket players. He was also running a cafe in Narayangadh. In the past, he also worked as a journalist in Chitwan's Synergy FM.

Piya has a son and a daughter. The deceased Piya's brother and mother are coming to Nepal from India. Secretary Gyawali informed that his cremation will be done at Devghat.
