The opposition parties have asked the ruling party to remove the obstruction of the Parliament by ensuring in writing a judicial or parliamentary investigation of the visit visa case. Leaders of the ruling Congress and UML are in discussion after the proposal of the opposition.
After the parties failed to reach an agreement in the House of Representatives meeting called for 3 o'clock on Thursday, the leaders of the opposition parties including Maoist, RSP, and United Socialist Party sat down and demanded a written assurance of investigation from the ruling party. After today's meeting of the opposition parties, we have demanded in writing the assurance of investigation and study. The leaders of the major opposition parties have demanded a written assurance of investigation on behalf of the opposition parties. We are waiting for the reaction of the ruling party,' said Maoist chief whip Hitraj Pandey.
