It has been agreed to form a special committee for the compensation of 14 houses of Mahottari Bardibas, which is on the East-West Railway.

In a discussion between compensation victims and government officials at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure in Kathmandu on Thursday, it was decided to form a special committee to compensate 14 families of Bardibas who have been deprived of compensation for a long time.  In the

discussion, physical infrastructure minister Devendra Dahal and secretary were present . According to the recommendations given by the special committee, it will be recommended to give compensation to 14 families.

Likewise, it has been agreed to provide immediate compensation to the affected farmers of Bardibas and Bhangah. There will be a further discussion on this matter with Ajay Mool, Director General of the Railway Department on Friday . "From that discussion, we expect a commitment to distribute compensation to the farmers of Bardibas and Bhangaha," said farmer Uddhav Budhathoki. He said that he will return from Kathmandu only if there is an agreement on Friday otherwise the railway department will be surrounded.
