The meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed once again due to the lack of agreement between the parties on how to investigate the visit visa case. The meeting called for 1 pm on Wednesday has been postponed to 3:15, according to the Secretariat of the Speaker.

On Wednesday, a meeting was held between Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Kumar Chaurasia and chief whips of the four major political parties, but ended without a conclusion.

Opposition parties have been disrupting the House of Representatives meeting since May 13 regarding the visit visa case. Initially, the opposition parties, who demanded the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar and the formation of an inquiry committee, have recently been demanding the formation of a judicial or parliamentary committee.
