UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has said that there will be no discussion on the 5-point proposal sent by the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA). While talking to the journalists at the Federal Parliament building complex in Naya Baneshwar on Wednesday, he said that the 5 points of the RASWPA cannot be passed under any circumstances and claimed that the Maoists agreed with what was sent with the draft.

He said that Thursday's parliament meeting was called a little late because the opposition parties asked for a day's time for discussion. He expressed his belief that the opposition parties will try to agree on the two-point proposal of the Maoist Centre.

'There is no discussion on the 5 points sent by Raswapa, it cannot be discussed. We agree with what the Maoists sent with the draft. The opposition party has demanded time to discuss again one day tomorrow. Because of that, the meeting of the parliament has been held at 3 pm. You may try to agree on the two points of Maoist, which we have also agreed on. If that does not happen, Parliament cannot be blocked for a long time. Parliament will move forward,' he said.

After the involvement of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar in the visit visa case, the opposition parties including Maoist, RSVP have been obstructing the Parliament demanding the resignation of the Home Minister. Accordingly, the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday was also interrupted. To end the deadlock in the Parliament, the RSVP has put forward a five-point proposal.
