The opposition parties blocked the parliament session today. As soon as Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced that today's meeting had started, the opposition parties stood up from their seats and shouted slogans and blocked the Parliament.

The opposition parties have been obstructing the meeting of the House of Representatives since May 13 regarding the visit visa issue. Initially, the opposition parties, who demanded the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar and the formation of an inquiry committee, have recently been demanding the formation of a judicial or parliamentary committee.

As there is no agreement between the parties on how to investigate the visit visa case, the meeting of the House of Representatives is repeatedly being interrupted. The meeting called for 1 pm on Wednesday was postponed to 3:15.
