Competition between Kadaria and Paudel for the chairmanship of Akhil

There will be competition between two panels for the leadership of the UML fraternal organization All Nepal Independent Students Union (ANERASWIU). Since there was no agreement for the selection of the leadership, two panels have been nominated. Sujan Kadaria and Prakash Poudel have nominated for the chairmanship.

Similarly, Anjana Sivakoti from the Kadaria panel and Vikas Shrestha from the Poudel side have nominated for the vice-president position.

Rajkumar Dhakal, Bharatsinh Dhami, Dhamendra KC and Ganesh Bahadu Shahi are the other vice-presidents, Sujita Dhital, Bhavani Bajgain and Aarti Bhattarai are also candidates for women's vice-president. 

Deepak Dhami and RK Romesh have been nominated for the post of general secretary. Dhami from the Kadaria side and Romesh from the Poudel side have nominated. Sunil Kandel is also a candidate for general secretary.

Among the candidates for Deputy Secretary General are Ghini Shahi, Kamal Joshi and Amar Bahadur Shahi. Rekha Neupane, Raksha Bam, Akash Ghartimagar and Rekha Thapa are candidates for secretary.

After UML imposed 32-year-old age limit in Akhil, there is going to be a competition among the youth in the national conference.

Akhil's 151-member central committee will have 9 officers. It has tried to elect Akhil unanimously for leadership. There are more than 500 candidates including the Central Committee and Commission.

EMA decided to impose an age limit of 32 years on Akhil in a meeting held on 12th June of the Central Secretariat. President Oli announced the age limit of 32 years for Akhil.

Vice Presidents Narayan Gharti, Govind Giri, Maryada Bista, Dharma Giri, General Secretary Naresh Rokai were out of the competition due to age difference.

Bihani Pangeni unopposed as secretariat member

Despite the preparation of elections for other leaders, Samik Badal informed that Bihani Pangeni was elected unopposed in Akhil's university women's cluster. She is the daughter of folk singer Badri Pangeni.
