The opposition parties are engaged in discussion about the obstacles and current issues in the parliament. The meeting is being held in the office of Opposition Leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Parliament House, New Baneshwar. Leaders of RSVP, CPN-S and AJP President and MP Prabhu Shah are present in the discussion along with Maoists.

Recently, the opposition parties have put forward the demand for the formation of a judicial or parliamentary committee to investigate the immigration issues since 2064. Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar backed away from the resignation of the visit visa case  The opposition parties are on the stand of the inquiry committee.

The ruling party has been maintaining the stance that the inquiry committee will not be formed and the home minister will not resign. Meanwhile, on Saturday, the leader of the main opposition party, Dahal, met Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. There was a discussion between the two leaders about the ongoing obstruction in the parliament.
