Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli has clarified that there is no difference of opinion within the ruling party as the government is proceeding with the right policies for stability, good governance and development.
Inaugurating the 24th National Congress of All Nepal National Independent Students Union, Prime Minister Oli also reiterated that UML will join the government by handing over the leadership of the government to Congress after 13 months as per the agreement between Congress and UML.
'Our opponents have tried to play within the power coalition. We have said that under our target Mission-2084, we will bring a majority in the upcoming elections. Being a competing party, the Congress can also say that,' President Oli said, 'We are now together in the government and we are ready to fight the elections based on our respective competition in tomorrow's election. There is no reason to be confused about this.'
Oli says that it was this organization that forced the announcement of a referendum in the year 2036 under the leadership of the student movement and especially Aneraswaviyu and they themselves sacrificed to bring true democracy and republic in the country. Stating that there will be no exemption for Aneraswaviyu for violent activities such as vandalism, beatings, arson and lockouts in the name of students, he instructed this organization to remain a transformative, civilized and responsible organization.
