Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa has said that this is not only a republican system but also a culture. During his speech at the first convention of the Nepal Democratic Tribal Yakthung Association, he said that it is impossible to imagine the return of the monarchy, saying that anti-republican commentary has been created in recent times.
He has asked not to think about the option of federalism.
He said that the leaders of the Congress should be clear about it by saying that it was the Congress leaders who were opposed to federalism.
In order to claim that the Congress stands ahead of other parties in favor of federalism and decentralization, he said, 'Republic is a system where people believe in their own religion and caste and respect other castes and religions.'
'The religion of the Nepali state is to judge, not to discriminate, to respect. Being able to keep one thing clearly on the stage and in the heart is a republic," he said. "Whatever is carried on the stage towards women, Dalits, tribes or other communities, developing the same feeling in the secret room is a republic."
