The meeting of the House of Representatives, which was called at 1 in the afternoon, started at 5:30 in the afternoon. The opposition parties are standing and protesting in the meeting.

The opposition parties are blocking the House demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar in the case of visit visa. 

Although the meeting of the House of Representatives was convened at 1 pm on Thursday, the situation has come to a standstill when the ruling party did not agree on the issues raised by the opposition parties and the opposition parties did not back down from their stand. 

The home minister has asked for time to present his views in the parliament. 

The next meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned until 1 o'clock on Friday.
