The program between the royalist political parties and various groups including Navaraj Subedi, RPPA, RPPA Nepal has been interrupted due to commotion. The royalist groups held a review meeting on Wednesday after the movement started on May 15 failed to gain momentum.
In the meeting of the Joint People's Movement Committee led by Navraj Subedi, RPPA Nepal President Kamal Thapa, RPPA President Rajendra Lingden and others were present. But the new movement could not be announced as the people present started shouting at the beginning of the meeting.
Thapa had to leave the stage after the participants shouted when he was about to present his views in the meeting . Thapa reached the stage and said, 'If you are going to make noise, I will not speak . If you want to make noise, I won't speak, you can do whatever you want, this is how the meeting will go ?' With these words, he left the stage . Coordinator Subedi postponed the
program without starting. Before closing this meeting, I would like to thank all my friends very much. Even though I am old, seeing your enthusiasm, energy and unwavering belief in your ideas has added more energy to me . I will come up with a good program and introduce the second level of movement among you again . Be confident. I want to close this meeting here today, thank you,' said Subedi. RP President and MP Rajendra Lingden did not attend the
event. If the ongoing movement to restore the monarchy is not effective, the royalist activists are dissatisfied with the leadership. Subedi said that 45 political parties and groups had a meeting. Subedi said that there was a problem because the workers came angry at the
program. 'People were very aggressive. I think it should be controlled," he said. Subedi has also accused the government of being ruthless towards the royalist movement.
Subedi also said that Durga Prasai was treated unfairly. On Chait 15, a royalist movement was held in Tinkune. Leaders of RP along with Subedi and Prasai also participated there . On Chait 15, two people were killed and government and private properties were vandalized and looted and set on fire. However, Subedi claimed that injustice was done by suing the participants in the program.
'Durga Prasai has been unjustly imprisoned by the government . 60/61 of our people have been charged . Fifty people are in jail. But despite all this, I have not lost courage,' he said.
