United Samajwadi MP Veduram Bhusal has alleged that the ratio of deficit in the budget has increased and the budget has been cut in the areas of production and job creation.
Participating in the discussion on the budget in the meeting of the National Assembly on Wednesday, Bhusal said that the deficit budget has been presented for a long time. He said that even though the finance minister brought the budget based on the reality of the country, the deficit ratio has increased.
Bhusal said that there should not be more than 25 percent loss in the country's economy, but Nepal has gone to 30 percent loss. He said that it will not be possible to increase production and job creation due to budget cuts in agriculture, industry, tourism, energy and other sectors.
'For many years we have been presenting a deficit budget . There has also been an increase in the proportion of the deficit budget. The finance minister has said that he has brought a realistic budget. But the proportion of loss seems to have increased . It is said that there should not be more than 25 percent loss in the economy. But we lost more than 30 percent," Bhusal said, "I don't see it possible to increase the production and job creation done by the budget. Because the budget has decreased proportionally in the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, energy and labor that create jobs. In terms of the current year, it is very less.'
Bhusal also criticized the finance minister for cutting the budget of the productive sector and pouring the budget into the disproportionate sector.
