Although there is an agreement between the federal government and the transport business association to write a letter to the Gandaki government to suspend the 'ride sharing' regulation, the Gandaki provincial government is going to make public its opinion only after receiving the letter.
Kamal Kumar Adhikari, Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management of the province, said that the letter has not yet arrived.
'We heard that there was an agreement . The letter has not been received,' he said. He said that a letter of postponement has been received from the federal government and that they are currently discussing what to do.
The task force of the federal government and the transport business had agreed to inform the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport about the agreement, the ministry would send it to the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister's Office would write a letter to the Gandaki government for the postponement.
