Kantipur worker Raju Chaudhary has been awarded as the best agricultural journalist. Appreciating his continuous contribution to the protection and promotion of the dairy sector, which is an important part of agriculture in Nepal, through investigative journalism, the Dairy Industry Association honored Chaudhary as the 'best agricultural journalist of the decade'.

At the 16th Annual General Meeting of the Dairy Industry Association held on Tuesday on the occasion of World Milk Day, Chief Guest Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ramnath Adhikari presented Chaudhary with a certificate along with cash.

Along with Chaudhary, Kiran Acharya of Taksar Magazine, Suresh Yadav of Gorkhapatra Dainik, Rajesh Barma of Clickmandu.com and Navraj Chalise of News 24 were also honored on the occasion. In the

program, the Agriculture Minister Adhikari said that dairy farmers and dairy development institute should be responsible as the arrears of dairy farmers are still 5 billion. The minister also instructed to pay the farmers on time and not to shirk responsibility.
