Today, the third round of negotiations between the transport industry and the government continues to reach an agreement

Although it was supposed to be held tomorrow, the third round of negotiations between the transport business and the government has started today. The third round of talks between the two sides has started today following the directives of Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar.

After the two-stage talks between the government and the transport business were inconclusive, again  The meeting was supposed to be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday. 

 'After there was no agreement in today's two-phase negotiations, we decided to hold a meeting tomorrow,' said Vijay Bahadur Swaran, president of the National Federation of Nepal Transport Businessmen.

According to Swaran, the government negotiation team had already left the meeting hall, but the transport businessmen were also preparing to issue a statement and inform them that the closure will continue tomorrow. "The Home Minister said that you should not leave the meeting, I will also go to the meeting again to the government negotiation team," Swaran said, "The Home Minister said that this matter should be resolved politically today." 

The previous meeting came close to agreement on 6 points, but the main demand could not be reached. The government negotiation team formed under the leadership of the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Krishnaraj Panth, and the transport industry held talks in two phases in the morning at the Ministry of Home Affairs from 8 am to 10 am and from 2:30 pm to 8 am. In the meantime, the transport businessman had a one-hour conversation with Chief Secretary Teknarayan Aryal. 

After the Gandaki state government introduced ride sharing rules, the transport businessmen are protesting with 7 points of demand. Transport businessmen have been saying that they have been forced to form the Public Transport Rescue Struggle Committee since there is no solution to the problem despite many discussions and dialogues with the government. They have been blocking public transport in Gandaki province for four days, and they have blocked transport across the country since Monday.
