Ganesh Rasik (2004-2082) said in the song 'Yangji Nana' - Mortal life is like this Yangji Nana.... Writer, singer and musician Rasik, who pondered over 'mortal life', passed away from this physical world on Sunday.

He passed away during treatment at Nepal Cancer Hospital in Harsiddhi, Lalitpur. Rasik Kamalo, who has been suffering from prostate cancer for some years, used to write emotional stories about life and geography.

Villagers used to narrate their lives and stories in humorous songs. When asked by his old friend, singer-composer Deep Shrestha, he indulged in a romantic-smriti wave. Deep is very fond of Rasik's song 'Kati din kovnu yo hussule chhope saharma'. As his own song says, Deep has a beautiful comment on Rasik, who left 'the city covered with anger'.

According to Deep, Rasik is an eminent singer, lyricist, musician. "His music was very original, it had a Nepali and rural flavor," he says, "He was particularly active in the Lekali group. His songs had the story of the village, the music was also of his own style. His songs/music are enough to remind villages and villages.'

Rasik always lived a creative time. Rasik spent many years of his life dancing and singing in villages and towns. However, the last days of life after cancer entered the body were painful. In a sense, he lived a lonely life in the Kathmandu metropolis in his last days, where the life of a lover who had lost his family was lost.

He was never a permanent resident of any place, who used to say, 'This life is not permanent, so I also do not have a permanent address.' He was changing his address and reached an invisible address from the world on Sunday.

During the ups and downs of life, he remained active in literature, song and music. Rasik has a memoir - 'When I walked with tears in my eyes'. He said to the columnist in 'Kantipur-Samvad', "I have been crying all my life. His feet, mind and heart were always dirty.'

He looked a bit disturbed and disturbed. Rasik, who had experienced many series of separations and separations throughout his life, was extremely disappointed in the latter. He suffered a family accident. He was deeply saddened by the accident and the separation of the loved ones he had lost. After the great departure of his wife Neera Sherchan in October of 078, he was alone, only alone.

Rasik was left with a wound that will never heal due to the constant abandonment of his relatives. He was disturbed by the memory of those wounds. In the fourth stage of prostate cancer i.e. mahabyadhi tumor, he looked more and more sick as he kept coming and going to Nepal Cancer Hospital Harisidhi, Lalitpur. He said, 'Now you're too old, brother! Legs hurt, back hurts. I don't want to do anything. Always thinking about death.'  In the

interview, he repeatedly emphasized that 'death thoughts keep coming'. Post-prostate Rasik's daily routine was completely changed. Hospital-home-medicine and bed were his life and land.

Born in Chinamkhu, Bhojpur in 2004, Rasik was brought up in Lahure culture. He used to live life by singing songs in 'Lekali' and 'Ralph' groups. 'O Yangji Nana', 'Nunjai Bilne Zindagi Lai Dhakkara Bokere', 'Dherei Magere Dhara Hoi', 'Hamro Gharbat Tamke Danda', 'O Nihilota', 'Gharbeti Nani Angima Deo Na Malai Baash', 'Nakhelnu Juwa Aar Taas', 'Rato Bhale Kwayan Kwayan' are his classic songs.

'Khistij Lai Chhun Khodda (Kathasangraha), 'Rasikka Geetharu' (Geetsangraha), 'Akashgangako Otmuni' (novel), 'Dashgajama Uvaldir', 'Jab Sisnuru Tekkei Walkhen', 'Perungo' (memoir) of five books are Rasik's published books. When he was suffering from cancer pain, he said, 'The lucky ones go to the afterlife soon, so I am the one who survived, am I unlucky?'

Remembering the family members who went on an eternal journey, he said, 'I have survived because of their memories.' His son Nimesh passed away in November 2067. Rasik said, "The son's head was hanging from the pillow towards the floor. There were drops of blood drying on the floor....'

Rasik has written in his memoirs, "Standing in Dasgaja" in memory of the beloved three brothers, "All of them died prematurely." They were - three hearth stones of family, faith and love that I carried on my shoulders.'

Rasik felt 'life like a dream'. In 'Kantipur-Samvad' from 'Death-Bed', he expressed his wish after death, 'After I die, don't keep me as a fly in the courtyard of the academy, don't let me take a selfie on the dead body. Take my body anonymously. I will take it to Aryaghat and put it in the machine. If you can, I will take my remains to Bhojpur - along with the graves of my wife and son.' He worked at Rashtriya Nachghar since 2026 and became the General Manager of Cultural Institute in 2040. Elected from Elam 1 in the 2051 mid-term elections. The competitors were - UML leader Jhalnath Khanal and Congress's Benupraj Prasai. Rasik and Jhalnath lost. The election was won by Prasai. Then he left politics.

Rasik's song 'Yangji Nana' says that he would have committed suicide if he had not been involved in music - 'Don't think that your Rinji is dead when he climbs the mountain!/He is coming to your chaunri shed/flying along with the fog....' Village/You have to live watching all this.

This song, dedicated to the brave mountaineer who spends his life in the mountains, has expressed immense respect to the mountaineer who is chasing after the peak-dream. The song reminding women who have lost their husbands of the importance of life will resonate as long as there are mountains and mountaineers. Along with the song, Rasik will also resonate.
