Former minister and Congress leader Mohammad Aftab Alam's health is improving. The family members have informed that Alam, who is being treated at Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Kathmandu, has improved in his recent health condition. Alam has been shifted from the ICU to the ward.
Last Friday morning, Alam was admitted to the ICU room of Annapurna Neuro Hospital after he suddenly lost his speech and became weak. After examination, the hospital confirmed that it was a stroke. Alam's brother Mehtab Alam informed that his health is gradually improving after the treatment. "We are consulting doctors to take him to Delhi for further treatment," he said, "now the health condition is improving." Dai needs some more treatment. Alam has been shifted from the ICU room to the ward. Alam's body, suffering from various diseases while in prison, is completely paralyzed. Now all the family members are in the hospital .
On the eve of the first Constituent Assembly election, four people, including ex-minister Alam, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the charge of burning alive a victim in a bomb blast in Rautahat's Rajpur on the eve of the first Constituent Assembly election, were acquitted this Wednesday by the High Court Janakpur, temporary bench Judges Khushi Prasad Tharu and Arjun Maharjan. Soon after that he and his brother Mahtab Gaur were released from prison. Along with Alam's brothers, Sheikh Saraj and Badri Sahni have also been acquitted.
