RP MP Deepak Singh has been arrested from the police premises. SP Apilraj Bohra, spokesperson of District Police Complex Kathmandu, said that he was arrested.

He said that the police were monitoring Singh during the protest and said - 'When the police came to the premises, he was arrested a while ago'

RPP General Minister Sharadraj Pathak said that MP Deepak Singh, who went to the police premises to meet RPP Nepal President Kamal Thapa, was arrested and detained for no reason. He told Kantipur that he did not give any information about MP Singh's arrest.

Chairman Thapa was arrested from Naxal on Sunday afternoon during the demonstration.
