After Thursday night's flood swept away the diversion road in Dumkibas' Binayi Khol, the small and passenger vehicles stopped there have been sent through Hongsi, Sardi. From Narayangadh, through Chormara Arukhola, through the gate of Hongsi cement factory on the Mahendra highway, it reached North Sardi and again passed through Dumkibas.

You have to travel 25 kilometers long to get out of Sardi Dumkibas through the Hongsi cement gate on the Mahendra highway.

According to the Dumkibas area police office, the small and passenger vehicles that were stopped since 2 o'clock on Friday morning due to the diversion of the Binayi river have been made to cross through that winding road. Big, long lorries and cargo vehicles are stopped at Mahendra Rajmarg. The police said that the cargo vehicles were not allowed to ply on that highway as it could cause traffic jams when sending large vehicles. Due to the rain on Thursday night, the traffic was stopped since 2 am when the diversions built in Daune under East Nawalparasi, Binayi river in Dumkibas and Chormara river were washed away.
