Congress leader and former state minister Ganesh Bahadur Khadka passed away. 82-year-old Khadka died on Thursday at his residence in Kimugaon, Narayan Municipality-7, Dailekh.

Minister Khadka was born in Dailekh in 1999. Khadka, who was a member of the House of Representatives in 2048 and 2051 and became an MP three times in the first Constituent Assembly election in 2064, also became the Minister of State in 2066.

Khadka, who has been active in politics since 2025, became the district vice president of the Congress from 2027 to 2030 and the president from 2033 to 2048. He also led the democratic movement of 2062/063.
