The main opposition party, Maoist, has said that it will maintain its stand on opening the parliament.

Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey said that the stand that Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar should resign in the case of visit visa remains.

'Our stand is firm. The ruling party is not ready for the home minister to resign,' he said, 'discussions are continuing.'
