The government has passed this year's monsoon preparedness and response national action plan 082 on Wednesday. The action plan was passed by the 32nd meeting of the committee held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Home Minister and Chairman of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Executive Committee Ramesh Alekhar.
According to the authority, the plan contains details including monsoon forecast, estimated case load affected by the disaster, responsibilities of concerned ministries, departments and agencies for pre-preparation and response to monsoon disaster.
