Under the Prithvi highway, the road which was blocked after the bridge of Sotang river in Thackre rural municipality-7 of Dhading collapsed, has been made to operate in one way by making a diversion. Nagadhunga Malekhu road planning chief Keshav Prasad Ojha said that the road has been operational since 4:30.
He said that the place where the road and the bridge were connected had a breach due to mud flow and efforts were being made to fill the place with mud to allow vehicles to pass through the bridge. He estimated that it may take 1 hour more for this.
The traffic was blocked from Tuesday morning after the bridge of Sotang River in Thackre Rural Municipality-7 of Dhading collapsed. Although the one-way road was opened for a while in the morning, the traffic was stopped in both directions since the afternoon as the traffic got worse.
