The Press Center celebrated the 23rd Memorial Day of Krishna Sen 'Ichchuk'

Press Center Nepal has celebrated the 23rd Memorial Day of Martyr Krishna Sen 'Ichchuk' by organizing various programs. Organized by the central committee of the center, the commemoration day of 'Ichchuk' was celebrated in Kathmandu on Tuesday with the participation of the valley, foundation and associate province committees.

In the first phase of the program, the audio-visual material prepared by the press center about Sen was broadcast. Manoj Ghartimagar, Secretary General of the Press Center, informed through a press release that PCN talks about "Journey of Republic and Socialism" and "Krishna Sen 'Ichchuk' and People's Pro-Journalism" were held in the second phase.

dialogue "Journey of Republic and Socialism" was attended by Rekha Sharma, Standing Committee Member of Maoist Center, Former Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Suresh Alemgar, Member of National Assembly, Central Member of Maoist Center, Daljit Sripaili, Former Youth and Sports Minister, Rahbar Ansari, Member of Provincial Assembly of Madhes Province and Former Minister of State of Province, Krishna Bahadur Thaplia, President of Benighat Rorahang Rural Municipality of Dhading. The conversation was facilitated by Roshan Puri, outgoing general secretary of Federation of Nepalese Journalists.

In the second series of PCN dialogues, there was a dialogue about 'Krishna Sen 'Ichchuk' and People's Party Journalism'. Ishwarchandra Gyawali, the in-charge of All Nepal Folk Culture Federation, journalist Kishore Shrestha, Sangeeta Khadka, the founder of Press Center and Arun Baral, editor of Khabarhabdtcom, participated in the dialogue. The dialogue was facilitated by journalist Naresh Gyawali.  In the

program, various journalism awards to be given by the Press Center on the occasion of the Foundation Day were announced. According to the recommendations of the selection recommendation committee, the award will be given to writer, left-wing analyst, journalist Narendrajung Peter from Krishna Sen 'Ichchuk' Memorial Journalism Award-2082, outgoing Vice President of Press Center Nepal and journalist Ruby Shrestha from Radio Nepal and Shakti-Tara Memorial Journalism Award-2082 to journalist Mani Vishwakarma from the Missing Warrior Memorial Journalism Award-2082. It is mentioned in the press release that they will be awarded on the occasion of the press center's establishment day.
