Tension has arisen for a while after fake voters were found in the National Youth Union elections held in Pokhara. The tension was created when the party candidate Suman Puri protested that despite his name being in the voters' list, someone else had voted and a fake representative had been found.
A fake voter has been arrested by the police from the polling station.
After the person tried to vote with a fake identity card in the name of another voter, the Puri party raised slogans at the polling station. After the police arrested the person, the situation returned to normal. Candidate Puri said that four fake identity cards were also seized from the polling station.
