Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that the constitution should be revised with the consensus of all parties along with the review of all the systems of the state in the context of the completion of 10 years since the promulgation of the constitution.
Talking to journalists in Biratnagar today He said that it is not possible to amend the constitution only with the consent of the Nepali Congress and Nepal Communist Party (UML).
MP Sitaula emphasized that the state apparatus should work honestly, focusing on good governance, service delivery, as well as the development and construction of the country, in order not to increase despair among the people. He suggested that political parties should organize themselves with internal democracy by prioritizing the country and the people.
He said that the leaders of all political parties should perform their duties responsibly to strengthen the federal democratic republican system. He said that the National Congress of Nepali Congress could be held in November 2083, saying that the Home Minister should not resign due to the matter under investigation by the constitutional body.
Member of Parliament Sitaula expressed the opinion that there should be a discussion in Parliament on the issue of public opinion gathering and establishing a Hindu nation.
