UML has said that any activity against the republic will not be tolerated. The meeting of the UML Central Secretariat on Sunday has also decided to instruct the party organization to celebrate the Republic Day on May 15 in a grand manner.

Regarding the demonstration by the royalists on May 15, UML has decided that such activities will not be tolerated as "any unwanted activity against the republic" and will counter it.

"It has decided to celebrate in a grand manner while remaining fully committed to the defense and development of the republic," the decision of the UML secretariat meeting said, "any unwanted activity against the republic is not tolerated." 

UML Propaganda Department Head Rajendra Gautam said that the party has decided to celebrate Republic Day in a grand manner across the country.
