The General Secretary of CPN (UML) Shankar Pokharel has claimed that CPN (Maoist Centre), Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASP) and RPR are showing frustration to UML when they have to leave the government. Addressing the 10th convention of the National Youth Association of Nepal in Pokhara on Friday, he said that the Maoists were the first to attack the UML, the RSVP the second and the royalists the third.

According to General Secretary Pokharel, till 10 months ago, UML was indispensable and everything for the Maoists, but now they are being abused for no reason. At that time, UML was indispensable for the Maoists. The leadership of UML was everything. Baluwatar became a regular destination of Maoist leaders-activists,' he said. He said that the Maoist leaders-activists insulted the UML when it was in the government even though it had done no wrong.

Pokharel said that after the arrest of the President Ravi Lamichhane, the RSVP leader-activist also took a dig at the UML. "Due to the frustration and pain of the President's detention, the leaders and activists of the RSVP have attacked the CPN-UML and its leadership," he said.

Pokharel reminded that until 15 months ago, the leaders-activists of RSWP reached the residence of Chairman KP Sharma Oli in Balkot to cooperate with UML. 'Remember 15 months ago. The meeting of the leaders of the National Independent Party used to take place in Balkot. "We used to request that we want to do some new work," he said, "at that time, our party CPN-UML was dear to them, worthy of cooperation."

He said that Rajawadi had once persuaded CPN-UML to cooperate with them and now they are now scolding him. He claimed that the royalists targeted the UML after leaving the government. He told the leaders-activists that there is no need to be influenced by the forces trying to weaken the UML.
