The Piplamod section of Nagadhunga-Naubise road will be closed for 15 days from Saturday. Until May 25, traffic is going to be partially stopped from 10:30 am to 3 pm.

Keshav Prasad Ojha, the head of Nagadhunga-Muglin road eastern section, said that because the road construction in that section needs to be improved, traffic is being stopped.

The project has asked vehicles to use alternative routes during that period. The project has designated Sitapaila-Ramkot-Dharke road and Samakhusi-Tokha-Chhare-Trishuli (Vidur)-Galchi road as alternative routes for small and medium vehicles. Earlier also, the road was closed from 11 pm to 3 am from Baisakh 22nd to 31st.

Chief Ojha said that during that period, all the old tarred roads were demolished and now the roads will be closed and new tarred roads will be constructed. "At that time, it was planned to demolish the road at night and build it during the day, but it could not be done due to the traffic jam," he said.
